Uttaranchal Tourism was the Uttarakhand which is a gorgeous state in the Himalayan North of India. Many other hill stations near Dehradun that are truly worth visiting are Almora, Chamba which is near to Mussoorie and provides great views of Chamba Valley as well as the Bhagirathi River. A true paradise for nature lovers, it is surrounded by Alpine forests and the proximity to cities like Dehradun and Rishikesh make it a nice tourist attraction. Haridwar is a holy city on the banks of Gangas and also hosts world's largest festival and the very famous Kumbh Mela. Mukteshwar, Mussoorie which is a glorious hill station, known as "The Queen of Hills" provides breath taking views of the Himalayas as well as Doon valley. Nainital too is a popular hill station visited by millions of tourists. Rishikesh is the Yoga capital of the world with largest number of meditation centers and temples. The Lakshman Jhula and the Ram Jhula are located in Rishikesh. There are some other destinations around Nanda Devi Trekking in the state, which are: Ski resort of Auli, Badrinath having temple of Lord Vishnu, Binsar, Chakrata and Choukari are a quaint and less traveled hill station and one can have the best views of Mount Nanda Devi Trekking. The oldest National Park of India called Corbett National Park is a must to visit.
