Taxis are the only means of transport to and from the airport which can be pre paid inside the airport. Train service to Udaipur is better than ever now and there are daily trains from New Delhi to Udaipur as well Jaipur. One can take Mewar Express from Hazrat Nizamuddin Station in Delhi at 7 P.M. and reach Udaipur early morning next day. Udaipur Lake Palace is also connected by an efficient bus service with Jaipur, Bikaner, Ajmer, Jodhpur, and Mount Abu.
