Pushkar India is a holy city in Rajasthan which is famous for its Brahma temple, lake, Pushkar Camel Fair, and local market. Pushkar Rajasthan means lotus flower which is also said to be the seat of Lord Brahma, one of the Hindu god worshipped as the creator of this world. Brahma is said to have present sacrifice at this lake on the full moon day of the month of late October/ early November blessing the place. Pushkar Fair is the only temple of Lord Brahma in the whole world and is also considered as a sacred place or the most important of holy places. Since it is a small town and has no airport, so one has to get down at the nearest airport of Jaipur which is well connected to major Indian cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata by air. There are many frequent buses that are available from main bus station at Ajmer. Those who love to travel by train can catch one of many regular trains from New Delhi till Ajmer or even from Mumbai, Kolkata, Ahmadabad, Chennai, Bhopal, and Bangalore to Ajmer.

Since Pushkar is a small town, it can easily be seen and explored on foot with in a matter of few hours. One can also consider hiring a motor bike, scooters, bicycles, etc. and take ride in surrounding countryside and hidden temples. Chamunda temple is one of the 51 Shakti peeths, Pap Mochini temple, Panchkund Shiva temple which is around 3 km from the Pushkar Lake is said to have been built by five pandavas, Savitri temple is located on top of a hill and is dedicated to wife of Hindu god Brahma, goddess savitri, the famous Pushkar Lake is a beautiful spot to visit in Travel and Tour Pushkar, and Gurudwara Singh Sabha are some of the most holy shrines in the town. But no Tour Pushkar India is complete with out watching the Pushkar Fair which is seen by thousands of domestic and international tourists every year!
